Netgear’s line of ARLO home security cameras have been widely recognized for their modern design and exceptional functionality. Yet with such a wide, diverse range of products, product differentiation was critical to the brand’s ability to help users easily navigate ARLO’s options based on their needs and budget.
To bring this vision to life — and to support the company’s design requirements in the long-term — Netgear engaged Impekable to both redesign its ARLO website and develop a new design system for use across different properties.
The Solution
From only a rough sketch file from the customer, Impekable designed a Netgear ARLO website that reflected their company’s brand and offered an enhanced experience that made it easy for visitors to self-select the right security products for their needs.
In particular, some of the specific design elements introduced by our team included scalable solutions for menus, streamlined featured products, comparison tables, and custom 3D illustrations — all of which were deployed in a clean, premium design.
A New Netgear Design Kit
In addition to redesigning the ARLO website, Impekable created a new design kit for Netgear to help streamline future design initiatives.
The new design ui kit contains predesigned modules and visual standards that enable Netgear to quickly spin up new designs across business units without compromising brand consistency — and without continually requiring the help of an external designer.

Our team worked quickly to meet Netgear’s tight deadlines, but this accelerated project plan in no way compromised the quality of Netgear’s finished products.
